Awful, Just Awful

Josey has been sick for over a week now. We took her in and she has an ear infection and gastroenteritis (stomach virus). They gave us some different medication than the stuff she had her last ear infection and HATES it! She spits and it out and cries the whole time we try to give it to her. It is like a strong chalky taste. Only 3-4 days left of the medication! We can't wait to be done with it.

So to top it off, I haven't felt good since after eating supper on Sunday night. My stomach just didn't feel right. I felt really bad yesterday evening so I made Brian supper and I decided not to eat anything. Something just wasn't right. At midnight, I woke up with the worst aches in my body and felt like I was going to get sick. Brian offered to go get me Gatorade and Sprite but I said I felt better after getting it out of my system. I slept downstairs in our spare bedroom b/c I didn't want to bother or get Brian sick. It must have been ESP b/c we both woke up at the same time, 3am. That time I asked Brian if he'd be so kind to go get me something to sip on. He was a trooper and ventured out to Kwik Trip at 3:30am. My mom took Josey for the day b/c I really didn't want to give her what I had and I honestly don't think I'd be able to take care of her as bad as my aches are throughout my body.

Knock on wood, Brian has been the only one not sick in our household. I hope it stays that way b/c I would feel awful if I made him get what I have. He's been extremely busy with the business too so it would be ten times worse for him to get sick.

On a happy note, Josey is making leaps and bounds! She now tries to stand up in the middle of the room and gets angry when she isn't able to do it. She walks around furniture and sometimes attempts letting go to see if she can stand. She's definitely a go getter and I think we're going to be running like crazy when she does figure out how to walk on her own.
