Holy March!

Wow, did time fly by since my last posting. I haven't been posting b/c my computer decided to take its final dive and quit working. It is getting to be spring here for sure! Brian is getting ready to go back to work since the snow is gone and it is warming up quickly. I have a new job that I will be starting soon. I am going to be picking up shifts in the Twin Cities on my days off from Mayo. They are hurting for cardiac ICU nurses so I am in luck! I just have to finish some orientation and hopefully will be picking up at least 2 shifts a week.

We got rid of my car. It just wasn't enough space for a huge child carseat facing backwards and my 6 foot 4 inch husband with long legs. We were looking at SUV's since I've always wanted one and this was my chance to get one but we decided against it. We had a deal placed in front of us that was too good to pass up. We bought a minivan. The best part about the deal...NO CAR PAYMENTS! We bought it from my sister and brother-in-law so I know it has been well taken care of through the years. We even got a portable DVD player in the deal so maybe car rides will be a little better for Josey :)

To share a few pictures with you of what is going on with Josey:

Josey has gotten where she loves these bead necklaces. She puts them on herself and then pats her belly/chest like she is so proud of herself. Then we all tell her how pretty she looks and she smiles.

I bought Josey a play tent from IKEA cuz when we were in Georgia in February, she loved her cousin's princess play tent. It isn't anything fancy but she acts like it is her little safe area. I asked her one night if she wanted to go 'night night' and she went running into her tent and stood in there like I didn't see where she went. What a nut!

Sadly, this is a picture of Josey's first haircut. It obviously isn't a professional one ;) Her father decided one day while I was at work that he couldn't stand her hair in her eyes anymore so he cut it himself! I thought he was kidding when I talked to him over the phone. He also buzzed the side of her head by accident cuz Josey turned her head while he was "trimming up" the hair above her ears. I told him that she looked like an Amish boy. Her hair is quickly growing so it doesn't look near as bad as it did the first week. I told him next time we can take her to the salon to get it done and he agreed.

This is just a fun picture of Josey sporting her sunglasses. She is ready for the summer sun to make it's appearance anytime now! She doesn't keep them on very well though ;)
