Happy Easter!
Josey's 2nd Easter but this year she actually got to join in on the festivities! I worked the week before Easter so we missed the big Easter egg hunt in Kasson. We were going to go to one in Dodge Center on Friday but a torrential downpour cancelled our plans. So luckily, Saturday morning was sunny and good enough for the Easter egg hunt in Mantorville. It was a little chilly so that's why Josey is so bundled up :) The park was packed full of kids! We didn't get a picture with the Easter bunny b/c people kept budging in line so we gave up. Josey loved to walk around with her basket. The hunt was broken into age groups and Josey's was 0-3 years of age. It took a little bit to get Josey to understand the concept of picking up the eggs and then putting them in the basket. I was one of the few parents that didn't pick up eggs for my child so Josey ended up with about 7 or 8 eggs. She was happy and that was all the mattered! .JPG)

Easter morning...here is how Brian and I found Josey. I was getting out to the shower and Brian had stepped into the garage for a minute. Josey is an excellent climber and I guess she knew right were the Easter bunny hid her basket. She was throwing her eggs all over the place.
The Easter bunny brought Josey her Baby Alive doll that she has eyed up so many times at Target! She was hugging and kissing her quite a bit. The baby doll makes sipping sounds when you move the bottle by its mouth and then when you pull it away it makes cooing, babbling, and sighing sounds. Josey thinks it is quite funny when it does those things.
Here is Josey in her Easter dress. I wasn't impressed with the selection this year but I was able to find one reasonably priced and still cute. I didn't have the perfect sweater to go with her dress but I couldn't pull myself to pay the same price for a half sweater as the dress! Little sweaters are ridiculously priced! She was cute as she could be in her dress. Although, she wasn't very psyched about it when we first put it on. She grew to love it b/c it was poofy and she could pat it down :)
The back just made this dress. I absolutely love the little criss cross look. I was hoping it would have been a little warmer for Easter and we could have enjoyed the back more. Oh well, there is always church on Sunday's to show off her dress outfits. She's getting to be such a big little girl. It is hard to believe how the time has passed!
