You Can't See Me

I love the minds of children. They are so innocent and think everything is simple :) We play a game with little Miss Josey where we say, "Where is Josey?" Josey will then proceed to cover her eyes and we pretend she has vanished. Then she will uncover her eyes and we announce that we can see her again :) Well...lately she seems to think that if she doesn't want to eat something she can cover her eyes and we can't see her. I laugh everytime she does it b/c she so carefully places her hands on her eyes. You think she would catch on that I can obviously see her when I still place the food on the tip of her tongue. Oh how I wish it was that easy to disappear for a minute.

I hate when I finally get time to update the blog and I forget about all the stuff I wanted to put on here. My mind always goes blank but then bits and pieces come to me.

Josey had her 15 month check up today. She was 65% for her height, 45% for weight, and still a whoppin' 9% for her head circumference. They say she is just proportionate compared to other kids. Apparently kids normally have large heads for their little bodies. Even the doctor talked about how busy Josey is and she was only in the room for about 15 minutes :) Speaking of busy,

Josey gets moved up to the toddler 1 room at daycare on June 7th. She'll absolutely love it there b/c all the kids are very mobile. They go outside like 3 times a day and have gym time too. Last time I took Josey to daycare her class was already outside. The girl in the infant room told Josey that she better go see her friends b/c she thought they were outside. Heather just barely said the "O" word and Josey took off running to her classroom. She kills me!

Here are a few pictures of our play photo shoot at my parents' place. She wasn't a very cooperative subject but I didn't expect her to be :) I just love her little dress. I bought it at a garage sale and it is perfect for her. I swear she looks good in any color.

I had to put this picture on the blog. I laughed when I saw how perfect I got this pose. She doesn't do it as much any more but if someone says anything about boogie Josey strikes a pose. She'll love me for this when she is a senior in high school...better put this in a safe hiding place so I remember it then :)

Josey is going to be trouble when she turns 16. As you can tell in the picture, she talking while driving ;) She loves the little cozy coupe cars. Her father has been so great to teach her how to make a car engine sound.
